The School of Rock in Downingtown was opened in 2004 and has been creating some of the finest young musicians in the nation ever since. Each year, graduates from the school attend some of the top music colleges in the world - including the Berklee School of Music, New York University, Belmont University and more. The school's houseband is comprised of its most talented and committed students and performs regularly in Chester County and the Philadelphia area. See them now so that you can say you saw them then!

Middle Class is the reigning 102.9 WMGK House Band. The band came out on top in the Philadelphia competition, which featured some of the best bands in the area. Middle Class consists of members from Chester, Montgomery and Berks counties. The band frequently plays bars, parties and events in Southeastern PA. Middle Class plays rock and roll from the 60's to present, using their musical talents to mesh their own sound with the classics. Audiences at Middle Class shows are guaranteed to sing along and dance.

Tommy Froelich Trio

Tommy Froelich is a local singer, song writer, and blues guitar player from Chester County, PA. For over 25 years he's played in multiple bands performing at local clubs, and festivals in the Philadelphia area. He released his debut album, Roads Less Traveled, in June 2016 and more recently released an EP called Time Well Spent in May 2017. Several songs from his first album have been played on 93.7 WSTW’s Hometown Heroes show. His diverse writing style is inspired from his passion for classic old-school blues and good old rock-n-roll. He captivates audiences with his smooth, soulful, and bluesy playing style. His band, the Tommy Froelich Trio was the 2015-2016 House Band for Philadelphia’s classic rock radio station, 102.9 WMGK. Among the many shows performed are: The World Café Live in Wilmington, the Paoli Blues Festival, the West Chester Restaurant Festival, Philadelphia's 2nd Street Festival, as well as many special events for 102.9 WMGK including: the annual Brew Blast on the Battleship NJ, Big Bad Bonfire, and performed at MGK's Big Gig at the BB&T Pavilion featuring Joe Walsh & Bad Company in June 2016.

The Rose Project

William Rose has taken his band with the namesake "The Rose Project" to new levels to include Al Hahn on Bass, Anita Samis on back-up vocals and Steve K on drums. All local to Chester County, Pennsylvania, they create an edgy folk sound that will carry you to another dimension. By combining William's travel tales with folk, rock, blues and pop - Rose Project offers something new to listeners that creates a captivating story and worldly sound. An outsiders impression? They may remind you of the band Live or Midnight Oil at first but their influences include Eddie Vedder, Dawes, My Morning Jacket, Ben Harper, and Neil Young. The introspective lyrics and unwavering sound is the kind of thing that reminds you that there is another kind of music out there... it explores, and it reaches beyond.

Kelsey Coan

Kelsey has performed for many venues and released her album titled, “Don’t Give Up” in the spring of 2015. She is currently working on completing her second album, and you can hear all of her music on her website. Kelsey was also featured in many newspapers and magazines such as Artist of the month for the July 2014 issue of the Philadelphia Talent Magazine. She was interviewed on both TV and numerous internet radio stations. Her music is currently played on multiple internet radio stations worldwide on their daily rotation, as well as Pandora Radio and iHeart Radio. Kelsey is an advocate for anti-bullying, she was a victim of mental bullying during her middle school years, and has a special place in her heart for those with special needs. The two songs she wrote, “Look At Me Now” and “Don’t Give Up”, are dedicated to those who are victims of bullying, abuse, and those who have special needs. Kelsey also honors our Veterans with her song called, “Something To Stand For”.

Late April performs throughout the Philadelphia suburbs in many different types of venues including restaurants, bars, community events, and private parties. With a unique blend of vocals, guitar, bass, percussion and crowd-pleasing entertainment, Late April is sure to provide the atmosphere and excitement wherever they perform.

Summit Hill hails from southeastern Pennsylvania. They play bluegrass, gospel and a wide variety of other music. They combine hard driving bluegrass with softer old country tunes, bold instrumentals and frequent gospel and spiritual songs. Last year they played everything from carnivals, weddings, funerals, church services, parties, and even a trip to northern Quebec.
