Landowner Appreciation Raffle by Victory Brewing! A Thank You To Our Landowners

Victory is changing ballooning traditions we hope forever in Chester County! Share Victory not champagne!

Welcome a balloon to your land in your yard. Lay white sheets in form of an “X” to let the pilots know they have your permission to land on your property. As a thank you, you will be entered into a raffle to win entrance tickets to local attractions, local restaurants gift certificates, or gift cards just to name a few.

If you don't want a balloon to land on your property, please contact us with your address so we can advise the pilots accordingly.

The sport of ballooning, once called the sport of the gods was developed in France in the 1700s. It was once thought that when a bellowing smoking balloon landed in your field, it was an attack of alien beasts from above and merited an attack on the ground. Landowners would attack the balloon with shovels and picks until it laid still. So the pilots learned quickly, that to protect their aircraft they must show the  town people that they were in fact more civilized indeed, by proof of offering the high class bottle of sparkling wine from the special region in France called Champagne.

Well balloons no longer bellow by putting out smoke, they are now fueled by propane which is a clean, eco friendly gas that leaves no trace behind. So there's no need for proof of good breeding, but rather the left over 21st Century spirit of comradrie that naturally comes about when guests drop in with a special bottle of brew from own locally brewed, locally loved Victory Brewing!

This new tradition is all about community, and sharing the beauty and bounty of Chester County.

Pilots will now share Victory Brew with welcoming landowners with the gift of a 750ml bottle of special Victory crafted beer. Landowners will also be entered into the landowner raffle. This year Grand Prize will include a party for 6 at winners choice any one of their 3 local taprooms. There will be three drawings, for second and third prizes. And all will include goodies and gift cards from your favorite attractions and eateries. See the lists below of contributors from last the last two years. You don't have to be home, a gift bottle and entrance form to the raffle will be left behind, but you do have to send them in filled out in order to be entered to win.
